  1. Butter 1 side of each slice of bread, and cut into triangle halves. Arrange half of the triangles along the bottom of the baking dish, with the buttered side up. Sprinkles sultanas and sugar on top. Arrange remaining half of triangle slices on the top, buttered side up.
  2. Preheat oven to 190C/375F/Gas mark 5 and grease a 2 litre baking dish.
